Have Foofoo Coffee...Will Heap Scorn...
So I was in a meeting the other day, and seemed to be one of two people who didn't go out to grab a coffee from the friendly barrista at Starbucks or Seattle's Best. I know each of these people and most go every single morning on their little coffee run outings. And why, when coffee is such a stupid subject, would anyone dream of asking why I didn't go and get Starbucks? I don't think I've ever gone to get Starbucks since working here in Southlake!!! Why, if I just want a nice, hot, steaming cup of craptastically free motor oil in the morning, do I gain the scorn of my fellow cube dwellers? Because it's just not the same as Starbucks... Huh? You mean because I don't go and spend 12 bucks every morning for my half-caff FrappaVenteMochachinoLatte with two shots of espresso I'm a heathen?
I'm sorry, but free coffee is exactly the right price when it comes to caffeinated goodness in the morning!
I'm probably mostly upset that it was implied that I came in late and that's why I missed to coffee run...I didn't see any of the rest of these people online that morning at 2:00am trying to clean up that mess in Wisconsin!!!!
Anyway...I'll sit here with my extra couple of bucks a month and my free motor oil....thanks!

Starbucks is a waste of time, money and effort in the morning. Yes, there was a time when I drank the frappaventemochachinolattecaramel thingy.. but.. I totally agree... I'll brew my only cup of craptastic coffee at home for virtually pennies!

right there with you. I don't drink coffee, but someone in my row goes out around 3:00PM every other day or so and gets the latest and greatest frou frou coffee from Dunkins. We have perfectly good free frou frou coffee!! You can even get half cafe cappuccino or whatever. Me? I get hot cocoa. :)The people that go out and get coffee are the same that go out every day for lunch. Must be nice to have all that cash... ;)
