Moving
While waiting for a tech to drive the distance between 2 BFE sites, I decided I should post since it's been a bit!
Well.....Woohoo! The Junior Angry Fat Man is moving to Dallas. After a year+ of cool dry air and ex-California SUV-driving yuppy fun, I'm packing up the fam and moving to the Lone Star State!!! Yee-HAH!
While we're going to miss our good friends that we made here, I know that we'll find new friends in DFW. It almost seems like you just really get to be good friends with folks and fate throws you a curve ball and it's time to move. I feel bad throwing the girls into another change, but Dallas has a lot of room to grow and we can actually afford a great house there.
Well, I'm going to be working for our LNP group, you know, LNP, the topic that blew up the AngryFatMan site last year around this time :-) I'll be pulling reports as my base-line job, but starting next year we'll be working on a project to automate some of our processes. AND having been the POC on intergroup IT/Network projects in the past, I'm the POC for this new group...good stuff! Feather in the hat kinda stuff.
Oh well, mainly I'm looking forward to a house, maybe a pool, at least a neighborhood pool....and being back in/near the midwest where my family lives. HERE I COME!!!
