What's that Lassie??? Timmy's Where?
Holy crap....for those who haven't heard, a little Wisconsin boy, Timmy Novotny, crawled his way into a toy crane machine. You know, those ones with the claws that never work and kids end up spending 5 bucks trying to get a 25 cent Tweety bird.
And here comes the rant.....where in the heck were Timmy's parents? It's kind of cute that the little dude was able to crawl up into the game, but obviously he was out of their sight long enough to get into trouble. I mean, he had to really work to crawl into that little bin and get his arms through, it had to take more than 5 minutes. The kicker is that no one saw him do it!?! That's bull, probably 20 or 30 people saw him in various states as he crawled in, but Hey....not their problem, huh?
I know parents really want to get that little tyke out of their hair after a long and grueling shopping trip, but how would you feel if you never got to see them again? Shopping malls and large retailers are probably some of the most prowled areas besides school grounds, so why oh why would you feel alright letting little Timmy go to the storefront to spend some quarters without supervision, that's just asking for trouble.

I surprises me about how often people ignore what is going on around them. At the least, you would think someone would realize that the kid could have gotten hurt and grabbed someone who works at the establishment.
One other thing... I can't imagine how much they had to spend to get him out.

For your information Timmy is my half brother and he was being supervised...it only took him a few seconds to crawl in there. My dad only turned his back for a second to use the payphone and gave Timmy some money to use the machine. What parent is going to think their kid is going to crawl into the thing anyway? It surprised us all. He's really fast about doing crazy things like that so before you go on judging people you should get your facts straight first.
